Does the amount listed on a T4A box 107 equate to the taxable benefit portion paid by the employer?

As per the Canada Revenue Agency: T4A slip: Statement of Pension, Retirement, Annuity, and Other Income the amount in box 107 are payments from a wage-loss replacement plan which is counted as income on your return.
