How do I report Statement of World income?

Hi, I was in BC, Canada from Jan 5, 2024 - Jun 27, 2024. I have no other ties to Canada. I believe this makes me a non-resident for tax purposes. I earned an income for a couple of months in Canada which amounted to around 15,000 CAD. I received a T4 and have since uploaded it into Turbo Tax. I returned to the USA in June and earned an income in the USA from July - Dec 2024. I will be filing a USA tax return as a resident here. Question: a) What do I enter in the Statement of World income screen? Do I *need* to enter my USA income even though I made it during the time I was *not* in Canada? b) Do I enter my Canada income (T4) on my USA tax return? Where can I find the "final income" and tax paid to enter into TurboTax USA? I just don't want to get double taxed and am unclear about the order I need to do things in. Thanks Arvind

On your Canadian return, you would need to enter any income that you made outside of Canada. You won't be taxed on this, but it is used to calculated income based benefits & credits. You can look at the detailed tax summary to find things like your Taxable income and your amount payable.
