I entered my T4 and Relevé1 correctly yet it shows that there is a discrepancy between both due to Box J (Quebec provincial income tax form). Is this normal?

T4 Box 85 and RL-1 Box J are not the same things, so they can be different.

T4 Box 85 is for an employee paid contribution toward a private health plan.

RL-1 Box J is for an  employer paid contribution towards a private health plan.

@TurboTaxSusan Does this mean that the warning that I get when I am reviewing my return is normal and is something that I should not worry about? I am unsure what to do with this warning and am worried about submitting my return because of this.

Warnings you can ignore it if you know that you've entered the correct amounts.
