I filed my 2023 tax return through this last year. I paid $1000 for my T1. But, my new accountant told me that my 2023 tax return has not been submitted to the CRA.

What I’m wondering is, if the my tax was never submitted, then what happened to the payment I made through this company? As I mentioned, I paid the T1 tax directly on this website.

Did you get a NETFILE confirmation number? You would get one if your return was successfully filed.
