I have had to re-file my return. How do I get credit for the amount I have already paid? The return is asking me to pay another amount.

I entered a wrong (lower) amount for spousal support and are now expecting a large refund.

If you have already filed your return and you have received your notice of assessment in the mail- then you can choose to Refile. You do not have to pay once again unless you have started your return from scratch. When you do a ReFile - you will correct what needs to be corrected and easiest and quickest way is by signing into your CRA My Account.  Please see your options below.
