I installed the CD version of Turbotax. Water was spilt on my laptop and it won't turn on. The taxes were incomplete. Have I lost everything?
Unfortunately, if you don’t have any backups of your files and are unable to recover them from your laptop’s hard drive, then your returns are gone. When you use TurboTax CD/Download, your tax files are only stored on your computer. We don’t keep any copies.
