Is Box 15 on the T5 where you report interest from a US bank?

Box 15 is not an appropriate box for foreign interest. You need to enter that amount in box 30 and have to report it in Canadian funds. Use the Bank of Canada exchange rate in effect on the day you received the income. If you received the income at different times during the year, use the average annual rate.
