My employer filed my taxes in Ontario but I reside and work in Quebec. My salary should have been processed for my home province. How do I correct my T4 in box 10?

My employer produced both a T4 for both provinces, and this was not a decision I approved.

Do you mean he provided you with a T4 and a REL 1?

Thank you for the reply.

There are two T4 slips where one should have been emitted. Part of my wages were in QC and the additional wages were billed in another province, ON.

In short, half my wages don't appear on my RL1 because of this error.

Otherwise it shows I owe a substantial amount because I was not taxed in Québef and instead taxed in ON.

TT Support concludes I need to contact the employer or CRA to confirm whether the abatement was corrected on their end already.
