My Husband doesn't have a T4 but it's asking for his info on my personal tax claim

My husband is self employed and in the section where it asks his information on my personal return, i clicked 'yes' to the question, however it wont let me proceed without inputting his income from line 236 on his federal tax return (t4 I assume?).. I tried $0 and leaving it blank and it will not let be proceed with entering it.

Have you prepared his return yet?

 If not, you will have to in order to find his line 236. If he is having an accountant do it, you should get a paper copy so you would know what is on line 236. (Yes his self-employment income is entered here but after his expenses)

So to confirm, we have to do his taxes first to obtain that information?
