My husband needs a different tax package than me (Standard and not self-employed). How do I get Standard for him?
If you are using TurboTax Online and you and your spouse want to use different versions for your tax returns, you’ll need to prepare your returns separately.
If you are transferring info from a previous year, you have the option of only transferring one spouse’s info into a separate return.
If you are not transferring info, when it asks “Let's get started. Who are you preparing this return for?”, select “Myself” to start a separate return.
