Purchased a copy of Turbo tax and when installed, was wondering how last years tax info will be transfered? Last years were done online.

Unfortunately, you can't import your previous tax year's data from TurboTax Online to TurboTax Desktop. TurboTax Online can't export anything other than a PDF file, and TurboTax Desktop can't open PDF files. Only .ttxx files

Thanks for the reply. Any suggestions as to how I can transfer last years info to this years software or where I can get the information from? Where would I see the info that would be transferred from last years taxes to my new years taxes?

As you have mentioned that you used TurboTax Online last year and will be using the TurboTax Desktop version this year, unfortunately, you can't import your previous tax year's data from TurboTax Online to TurboTax Desktop. TurboTax Online can't export anything other than a PDF file, and TurboTax Desktop can't open PDF files. Only .ttxx files.

You can see last year's information by signing into TurboTax Online TY2023.
