Just filed and was wondering if my dtc was automatically added? Didn’t see box when filing. I transferred it to my son

Is it automatically added once certificate is in place with cra?

Just filed and was wondering if my dtc was automatically added? Didn’t see box when filing. I transferred it to my son

 

If you don’t have a signed form T2201 already in place with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) when you file your return, you will not get the DTC credit or have it transferred to your son. If that happens, you can adjust both your returns for the year to add the credit back in once the CRA has your T2201.
