It autosaved for me when I was finally able to hit continue - which was after I used some work arounds I saw in this forum rather than any advice from Turbo tax the few times I have called.
I was able to enter information with cents and I did not get an error message. My amount owing (me) or refund (wife) did not change after inputting the information.
online version it keeps telling me the lines do not add up but the math is right
So I have two T1198s . I don't know if I am just going to print this sshiitt out and mail it. Let CRA worry about this. How hard is it for these people to program a form that sends the CRA information about what I got retro payments for whatever years. Its a two column ffuuckking form. I'm pretty sure a grade 7 student learning HTML code could figure out how to code the form. Yet we have had TWO updates and we can't seem to figure it out. I have a Bill 124 Retro pay table then I got this VBIA one dated march 11th. So much for my employer making the Feb 28th deadline. So far with my taxes all filled out without the T1198 I have something like $8073 owed to me. What is wealthsimple like? Its free, someone in here said they used it it was okay. there is a 40$ one if you want audit protection? I dont want that. There are going to be alot of teachers who used turbotax who arent going to after this year.
The T1198 form was updated with the new update that was released yesterday. Please make sure that if you are using TurboTax Desktop, it is up to date.
Hi!
I received 2 qualifying lump sum papers, but online (the app) I seem to only be able to access 1 t1198. Am I able to combine the 2 forms (each form is for different years) into 1 t1198 and just add the totals together?
I am just going to print my forms and mail them in. The update from intuit actually REMOVED the easy step step out of the introduction. And if you try and search the form it doesn't do anything just like it did last week with that update.
I'm printing my forms mailing them in. Anyone on here who is modifying the form like putting the year 0024 or changing the cents is at risk for an audit.
Imagine using a software that forces you to enter incorrect information in order to process your return.
Never again turbo tax.
Is this ready? Paid a lot of money for Turbo Tax home and Business and this is useless without being able to process the T1198 properly?
Please respond
I have the desktop version. Updated today and don’t even have to option to click saying I have a T1198 anymore. I. An open the form but still can’t input 2024. Only up to 2023!
Why is changing the allowed year such a hard thing to do. I have read this issue on multiple threads. one would think by now this SIMPLE issue could be fixed. I would REALLY like to get my taxes filed. Please dont say CRA, locked blah blah blah
