Thank you for replying. 

Error code is 603. I already called the support line and they could not help. 

 

Here I am posting screenshots of what I get on the screen when I try to activate. We are located in Quebec Canada therefore it is in french. Sorry if this is causing you issues, but you can still clearly see that it only has 3 activations. I am not sure why we do not have 5 but maybe it is specific to the version we have, The key was purchased locally at Costco.

In Canada, you can only download your software on up to 3 computers.

Apparently my original question is not accessible from this part of the forum so I am posting it here so you can understand the issue :

My family uses TurboTax Deluxe desktop retail. We are 3 people with each their own computer so we need all 3 activations provided by the Key.

 

I installed TurboTax on my computer and used the last of the three activations. Last week however I had a hard drive failure and had to re-install windows and most of my software. Unfortunately TurboTax will not activate anymore as all 3 activations have already been used. I am still using the same exact computer as before, all I did was a fresh windows install. 

 

I asked technical support on the phone for a solution but they could not help. I would like a clear answer from TurboTax support about how to solve this issue.
