    Why was the turbo tax charge so high

    The price of TurboTax Online is based on what you enter on your return. And if you add extras like Assist & Review or the Premium Bundle, that will be added to the price.

     

    Also, if you prepare your return together with your spouse, that counts as 2 returns.
