Will Turbotax 2025 continue to work with Windows 10 next year?

Great help here and it's appreciated.  ALL I ask is that Turbo Tax fix things so that ALL my future Returns can be done using Windows 10. 

To have Turbo Tax help MS to promote Windows 11 is disappointing to many.  To  many of us we will have to buy new computers to run W11.  It's not just a new computer, my HP Laser Printer (colour)  probably will be a problem with W11.  Certain processors in new laptops are also a problem for older printers too.

Is computer life moving too fast?  Maybe it is for this Senior.

Looks like other Tax Programs will be affected by W11 too.  I checked with GENUTAX and they confirmed that 2026 will require W11.

That leaves TT and CRA and others that offer online filing each year (fingers crossed) until MS figures out a way to interfere with this as well.

Many unhappy with W11 so I'll stick with W10 as long as possible.  My MS Surface laptop has developed some keyboard problems, eventually this could mean anew laptop with W11.

I was upset with TT but now, after checking around, I doubt TT and the others have any way to control Microsoft!

So to clarify, are you saying that both the PC version (down loaded or store bought)   AND  the 'online' version for Windows 10 will continue to work for 2025 tax year on this OS? Thanks

@dragon171 Absolutely, you can use TurboTax Do It Yourself (online version) on any PC or Mac with a current web browser. You can also use the TurboTax mobile app for iOS and Android devices to do your taxes on your smartphone or tablet. It's not a downloadable version. TurboTax Desktop TY 2025 can be downloaded for Windows 10, but we recommend using Windows 11.

@fortwolf TurboTax 2025 is compatible with Windows 10, but we recommend using Windows 11. When you install the desktop version, you will be prompted to choose between Windows 10 and Windows 11. You can then proceed with the installation.

The website clearly states you will not be able to install TurboTax on Windows 10. That's too bad as my hardware does not allow the Windows 11 upgrade. So now my choices are; buy a new computer with windows 11 for around $1,000 or switch to H&R Block for $34.95. Hmm, decisions, decisions. BTW Intuit in case you care, I've been a TurboTax customer since 1998.
