Self Employed personal trainer who did not work this year but was still required to obtain insurance and CEC's. How do I claim these expenses?
If you did not operate as a business (self-employed), you cannot claim business expenses. If you operated but have zero (0) revenue, you can claim the expenses and it will generate a loss which will carry forward to future years.
