Split income issues: as I'm about to netfile my report it says I have an error relating to my wife's split income but it doesn't apply to us.

Please make sure that you have answered No to the question, Do the TOSI rules apply to you?  You can click on Find in the top right-hand corner and type in Tax on Split Income, select it and click Go.

I dont understand why this quesion applies?

I am filling out my daughters return and she is single and 18 years old.

Has only employment income and small amount of interest income

Why does this form print out if pdf? I also get a netfile error if this quesion is not answered. I don't know why this is relevant. Is this an error in turbo tax?

I also get netfile error when I try to netfile - I wonder if this is causing it?
