T5008 - Can I just add all my gain/losses and put them into one T5008 page?

so just use the total amount is shows on the bottom of the T5008/RL-18 form and plug it all into the single T5008 form?

Or do i still need to manually add/subtract each line separately as it shows some securities I purchased but didnt sell in 2016.  thanks
