You can't NETFILE a return for a deceased person. You need to print out and mail it, and the executor of the estate (or legal representative) needs to sign it.
Hello, can you clarify what message you're seeing?
Did you receive a "warning" message? If so, you can simply ignore the warning message and proceed to filing. You do not need to answer the question related to residential property flipping.
I tried that and still got this message. I have a feeling I have tried too many times now & I will need to drop it off. The worst thing is one of them died in March & that's the one I'm having problems with so if I print it, I can't get them to sign it. It appears as if I'm in a jam.
I get an error 35.

Thank you. The person died in 2025 so I figured it wouldn't affect the 2024 tax return. I guess it does.
