try to open my turbo tax 2024. Says there is an update. Yes to update and then window closes. No update installed.

What is the current build of TurboTax you are on? I also suggest ensuring that your Windows is up to date before running any updates for the TurboTax software.

To check the current build, go to Home > About TurboTax from the top right panel.
