Turbotax charges me for a full price upgrade to Premier from Deluxe for both myself and my spouse. I only have the requirement to upgrade due to T3 slip I was unaware of.

When you do a spousal return and there is an upgrade required, both returns will be upgraded for the software to be able to optimize your returns to minimize your overall taxes owed, and maximize refunds and tax credits where possible. TurboTax is taking extra steps to ensure you have access to the right tools and support specific to your tax needs. There have been changes made to TurboTax Online.
