Use of Program and Cost

If I use a Manitoba TurboTax  Standard program to do my returns, can I also use it to file my deceased mother from Ontario?? Why is it cheaper to buy the program from Costco than from Turbo Tax directly online?

Yes you can.  I file my family taxes for BC and my brother's taxes from Ontario.

For the second question, re-sellers can choose any price they want.  This time of year they use it  to bring in more of the public.
