I had an issue with my profile, and an agent connected to my computer after asking me to press on some keyboard keys. I am concerned that this might be a security breach. How did the agent connect to my computer? What software did she use?
The agent you spoke with used SmartLook. This is an experience we offer our TurboTax Online customers to help diagnose your issue sooner. The agent can see your TurboTax Online screen, but nothing outside TurboTax Online or your personal information in TurboTax.
