Why is the system not allowing me to enter my sin number it says to enter a different sign number from my spouses

I enter my social insurance number but the system says to enter a different one from my spouses why is it doing that

To resolve this issue, please select everything that is in the SIN box and delete it. Then re-type your SIN, making sure to use only numbers and no special characters or spaces. There should be a total of 9 numbers. Ex: 123456789
