Hi, on your Self Employment form, please verify the province entered is the same as your province of residence as of December 31st.
Thank you for using Turbo tax.
This same happened to me but I didn't have any self-employment form, nor did I have any self employment job. I also checked my T4 slips and all of them are AB
@jnpcsl If you've entered an amount from any of the boxes on the slips listed here, you have what the CRA considers to be self-employment or business income:
If you have an amount in any of these boxes, TurboTax will ask additional questions to report the income as self-employment/business income. You only need to answer basic information, such as business name and address (can be your own), industry code, and fiscal period (Jan 01 to December 31).

I resolved it. How I did it is:

My friend who was helping me initially was from BC and is now filing here in AB. She selected Yes in the answer but did not received any netfile prompt, she said. I am thinking maybe this is only true if it's changing from one province to another type of deal, not within the same province.
I maybe wrong too but it worked I guess
@ElCheapoOttawa Please use your Home address ( address on your Tax Return) to by pass this error OR check "Did you change your mailing address?" or something similar. Select no to confirm that.
Hi, I'm having the same issue. I've tried everything that has been recommended in this forum, but I'm still unable to file my taxes. I'm not self-employed -- I have a T4A slip but only box 105 is filled out.
Please help!
@fherrera Box 105, “Other Income,” on the T4A slip will report the sum of scholarship, bursary, fellowship, and tuition waiver for dependent children and/or a spouse's payments recorded in the student's ACORN student account in the calendar year. Make sure that you have not selected anything related to self-employment. To help us look into the error you are receiving, kindly take a screenshot of it.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
