When uploading my T5008 from the CRA website it only enters the proceeds and not the cost of the security. Im unable to edit the upload, it obviously overstates my income

Click on the income tab and hover over tslips

Select T5008

There is an edit button so you can go in and change box 20 to include your cost. You will need to do this for every T5008.

Also, make sure the toggle switch is set to capital gains.
