Can I claim rent as a Manitoban for rent paid in a different province? My principle residence was in MB but lived/rented in SK for 5 months. Can I claim that rent paid?

Legally my principle residence remained in MB, I remained a MB resident, but worked in SK for a period of 5 months where I rented a property to live in while I was working. I travelled back and forth between the 2 provinces frequently. Can I claim the rent I paid in SK since in MB you can claim rent on your taxes?

No. You can only claim rent paid in Manitoba.
