No. If you are a non-resident, or you live outside of Canada, you won’t be able to use NETFILE to file your return online. However, the CRA is temporarily allowing non-residents to fax their tax returns in order to file. You can find the right fax number to use on this page: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/corporate/contact-information/where-mail-your-paper-t1-retur...
Unfortunately, you will still need to print and mail your Quebec return. You can get the mailing address to send your Quebec Return here: https://www.revenuquebec.ca/en/citizens/income-tax-return/filing-your-income-tax-return/filing-your-...
If you have TurboTax Live Assist & Review, here is how to talk to a Tax Expert: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/community/navigating-turbotax/help/i-m-using-turbotax-live-assi...
Based on this requirement, is the Full Service product useable by non-residents?
Full Service can do returns for people who can't use NETFILE, but is not available to non-residents.
Hello again. I'm a non-resident with rental income from Canada. Which Turbotax services am I able to use? And do you have any experts in this area on your team?
You can use TurboTax Online or TurboTax CD/Download, but you will need a Canadian or US credit card to pay.
The experts at Assist and Review can't help with non-resident returns. They also can't call out to non Canadian numbers, and you would still need a Canadian or US credit card to pay.
