What do I need to consider when moving back to Canada (change of tax residency back to Canada)? I have rental property in Canada and US, and equity holdings abroad.
Is land transfer tax on a purchased property considered as part of the purchase price or can/should it be claimed as CCA or other deduction?
If property is sold with a promissory note to pay later is this considered capital proceeds over several years?
I have a rental property. Are strata fees considered as expenses? If so, under which item should I enter the amount?
