Check the percentage of ownership you entered in the section of the business or rental- its possible that you entered it as 100% instead of 50%.

I have the same problem. My wife and I own a rental condo. I have entered us as sole proprietor/co-ownership, at 50% each, but TurboTax will not let me file due to a "FIX error" message. It says I must declare my wife as self-employed on form T776. She is not self-employed. How do I fix this?
