Do vehicle related expenses for work and rental property go in the same place ie total kms for both as i see there are 2 places having to do with vehicles

If you have employment expenses and a t2200 from your employer, then those expenses would go in the employment expenses section. You would put rental expenses on the rental statement. If you used the same car for both, you would have to figure out how many kilometres you used for each, and only report the relevant kilometres & expenses on each page. You can’t claim the total amount in both sections.
