Filed a return with stock sale as income but there was no cost of the stocks included so gains and income where unrealistic. how do i fix this?
To make changes to your return click on the Refile button next to it. Then go back to where you entered your capital gain and add the cost. Use the find tool to search for T5008 if you entered that slip, or search for cap to find the capital gains/losses section.
