When using TurboTax Free, enter the amount of GIS received in box 21 of the T4A (OAS).

Click in the dialogue box under the heading Your Taxes and type in ONBEN.

Select the slip and click on the drop down arrow next to the Ontario Energy and Property Tax Credit.

Answer Yes to the question, "Do you qualify for the 2017 OEPTC and want to apply for the credit?" and click on Next.

You will be prompted to enter the details of your rent paid.
