I have US rental income but an overall gross loss after expenses. I have filed a tax return to the IRS. How should this now handled on my canadian income tax return?

Hi there,

Thank you for your question. You can enter the amounts on a foreign income slip. Be sure to enter the income in the currency in which you received it and enter the appropriate exchange rate so our software can translate these amounts into Canadian currency.

Made an error!. I had net LOSS after expenses and paid no US tax. How do I handle this on my Cdn tax return. Thanks.
