How do I add income from book royalties?

If you receive no T slip for this income, you can claim it as self-employed earnings. You can use your own name, address, etc… The only thing you might not know is what your industry code is, which you can look for here: https://www.statcan.gc.ca/eng/subjects/standard/naics/2017/v3/index

We also have a video on YouTube that goes through preparing a Self-Employed return: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzszSEVEv-U

In TurboTax Online, you can get to the Self-Employment part of the interview by using the Find tool (magnifying glass) to search for "self". Then select Self-Employment from the list, and then click the Go button.

If you have TurboTax Live Assist & Review, here is how to talk to a Tax Expert: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/community/navigating-turbotax/help/i-m-using-turbotax-live-assi...
