I own condominium apartment and rented for x amount per moth inclusive of utilities. I pay for the condominium fee which covers all and maintenance fee. so How do I separate utility and maintenance fees? can I claim / expense full condominium fee or portion and if portion, what % age?
The condo fees are a valid expense against rental income. You should be able to claim it all, although if the fees are more than the rent, you may have to carry a loss.
