How to enter capital loss carry forward in turbo tax for the 1st time
The simplest way is to use the Find button in the Easy Step method to search/select the term Losses. On the page that appears, check the option for Net Capital Loss Carry Forward to enter this information.
If you are using the Forms method in TurboTax CD/Download, use the Form Lookup to find the Loss Worksheet.
