I am a Canadian resident and taxpayer with U.S. income. On Turbo Tax Self-employed Canada, how do I claim instalment payments to the IRS as foreign tax credits?

I make these payments because I get U.S. Soc. Security and there is no way to have the Soc.Sec admin do deduct income tax.

First you will enter your US Social Security Income and the taxes that you paid on the foreign slip. To get to the foreign slip in TurboTax Online, use the “Find” tool (magnifying glass) to search for “foreign”. Select “Foreign Income” from the list and then click the “Go” button.

Then you will enter the information again on the Foreign Tax Credits page. To get to the Foreign Tax Credits page in TurboTax Online, use the “Find” tool (magnifying glass) to search for “foreign”. Select “Foreign Tax Credit” from the list and then click the “Go” button.
