I used to do my tax return by using CD version, every time, when I install the program, it will automatically find the information from previous years, if using online version, can it find previous information? my main concern is for capital loss from stock market? as I need to use previous capital loss this year.

Yes if you go from CD/download to Online version- TurboTax will still be able to transfer your information.
