I have a net investment gain/loss appearing in my capital gains deduction for 2003, how do I apply this to my 2023 tax return?

Go to the Tax Home page (2024 tax return on the left), and search for " Losses”, then select it from the list. When you get to the Losses page, check off “Request for Loss Carryback”. Then click “Continue” until you get to that page.
