I lived in Manitoba for the first half of the year, then moved to Saskatchewan. How come I can only enter Saskatchewan provincial taxes? I need to claim MB rent

I had a job in Manitoba and a new job in Saskatchewan. I should be able to do separate provincial taxes.

Unfortunately, if you moved during the tax year or since, it's still where you lived on December 31st that will determine what applies to you. So if you lived in Saskatchewan on December 31st, you’ll be filling a Saskatchewan tax return, and only Saskatchewan credits and deductions will be available on the Provincial return. For clarification please contact the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
