    If I left Canada in August, why does my refund decrease dependent on my foreign income earned after I left?

    If I left Canada in August, why does my refund decrease dependent on my foreign income earned after I left?

    Because even though you are not taxed on that income, it is still used when calculating credits that are based on income.
