No, you need to claim your dispositions of Capital Property in the tax year you actually disposed of them. Any Capital Gains will be reported on the tax year the disposition incurred in, however, if you incur a Capital Loss you may be able to apply that loss to any of the three previous tax years, or carry it forward.
