Hi Shane,
We are currently experiencing a problem with the software when claiming the Canada Worker's Benefit and the Amount for an Eligible Dependant on Schedule 6.
As soon as the issue is resolved we will be advising our customers so they can proceed with completing their tax returns. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to have this resolved quickly.

With the Download version of TurboTax, please make sure you have your software up to date. The CRA forms are unlocked, so we'll need to rule out that problem first.
To do so go to Help (in the top left toolbar) > Check for Updates > and say "Yes" if an update is available.

Sorry to hear you are still having an issue with this. Can you please advise which version of the software you are using to prepare your tax returns, is it downloaded/installed on your computer, or are you using the Online version?
Thanks

Your CERB income which is reported on theT4A - Statement of Pension, Retirement, Annuity and Other Income slip should only be entered on Line 130 - Other Income of your tax return.
If you mistakenly entered on another slip (such as the T4 - Box 14), you can delete that slip by following the instructions in this TurboTax FAQ: How do I delete info I've entered in TurboTax?
Sorry, we are unable to return phone calls from this forum, if you would like you can reach out to us privately via social media channels. Facebook/Messenger Private Message or Twitter Direct Message

@tulula3
The cost of preparing your tax return is not deductible for most Canadian taxpayers. If you are Self-Employed, own Rental Property, or are a Commission Sales Employee, you can deduct your tax preparation fees as "accounting fees".
Here is an updated link from TurboTax 🙂

You can put your spouse's SIN as 000 000 000. Also, unless you can prove that you supported your spouse (with money transfer, etc…), then it’s best not to take the spousal amount. CRA may require proof and if you cannot provide it, your spousal amount claim will be disallowed.
Can I claim my spouse or common-law partner as a dependant?

Thank you for sharing that information! A double-entry of income often occurs when someone uses the CRA Auto-Fill My Return service and manually enters their income slips as well. And for the 2020 tax year, we can expect to see many customers with an amount on Line 13000 of their tax return that relates to the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) payments.
Please see the above post from TurboTax Lise that explains some other sources of Other Income found on Line 13000 of your tax return in addition to the COVID related benefits found in Boxes 197 to 204 of your T4A – Statement of Pension, Retirement, Annuity, and Other Income.

Although CRA says the Express NOA will be delivered into your software right after filing your return, there is sometimes a slight delay in viewing it.
We suggest you try again a little later through the TurboTax software, and if you are still unable to view it through the software, try accessing it directly through your CRA My Account.
Please let us know if you are still experiencing an issue viewing your Express NOA.
