ESOP Investment or capital gain on the T5008?

I have a T5008 from my previous company I worked for.  I was part of an  ESOP (employee share ownership program) with them. When I resigned from that company I had them pay it out to me. Do I enter it as an investment or capital gain?

In your case as it is stocks  you should report it as  capital gains
