Investment and Rental Income on TurboTax Canada Standard version

Hi:  For many years I have used the Desktop Standard version of TT to handle stock and bond income, Foreign holdings, and a property rental income.  As I look to purchase a TT version for the 2024 tax year, Intuit advises the Premier version for handling these items and doesn't mention them as being handled in the Standard product.  Is that a change this year?  Thanks.

I use Standard for rental income and personal business income. It will handle all T-slips for investments. It just doesn't have the advice and recommendations for those portions.  If you have been using it for years you can probably do without help.

Appreciate your clarification! May I ask a further clarification?

I've been using TT for over 10 years.  Every year, I use the STANDARD version, as I only do my and my wife's returns, but I need the carry-forwards for capital gains, medical deductions, and charitable contributions.  After hours of trying to get some clarity from TT folks, it appears that the "STANDARD" version this year is no longer "standard". To get the same functionality, it appears I now have to buy the PREMIUM version.

Can you perhaps clarify if the carry-forwards still exist in the STANDARD version?  As you correctly pointed out, I couldn't care less about their "help" and "recommendations", but I do need the carry-forwards.  And being a pensioner, I don't want to pay triple the price for the same old functionality.

Thanks in advance!
