On T3 there are 3 options for foreign income (U.S, # 2, # 3). What do you choose for an investment fund with global income? I tried to type 'global' directly on the forms, but a pop-up option came up with only the three options.
In the description field associated with Country #2, you can usually type "Global" or "Various". If the pop-up restricts you, just leave the country as "Country #2" and ensure the amount in Box 25 (Foreign Non-Business Income) and Box 34 (Foreign Tax Paid) matches your slip.
