What should I do if I cannot find my adjusted cost base for a property that was sold?

in 2018 I was put on title for my wife's home and only paid legal fees to be placed on title as a 1% holder of our primary residence. last year we sold the property. I am out of the country currently and cannot find the cost for my 1% to put in the adjusted cost base on my tax form. what should I do?

If you absolutely can't get the exact number for your adjusted cost base, then you can enter an estimate now, and either update it before you file, or adjust it when you can get the correct number. If the home was your principal residence the entire time you owned it, then it won't make a difference to your return.
