Can one of my family members claim my transit passes on their return, if I don't owe taxes but they do?

The TTC issues a receipt for MDP subscribers with my name on it, but it doesn't make mention that I cannot be the only one to claim them. I gain no refund benefit with them on my return, so I thought I'd give to a family member that would.

If you were under 19 years of age on Dec 31, 2014, one of your parents can claim the amount you have spent.  If you are married or have a common-law partner then they can claim the amount.  Otherwise, NO, it is not transferrable to another person.  For more info please see http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/ndvdls/tpcs/ncm-tx/rtrn/cmpltng/ddctns/lns360-390/364/wh-eng.html
